Teresa Schmidt was named interim assistant coach of the Billikens' field hockey program in August 2025.
A St. Louis native, Schmidt was a four-year captain at Bellarmine University in Louisville. She prepped at her alma mater, Cor Jesu Academy.
Schmidt has coaching experience with the Gateway Field Hockey Club in St. Louis, as well as Stealth Field Hockey in Louisville. She also served a two-year internship in the athletics department at Bellarmine, supporting student-athletes in the areas of academics, compliance and personal well-being.
Schmidt graduated from Bellarmine with a B.S. in Clinical and Counseling Psychology in 2022 and an M.S. in Digital Media in 2024.
