Danny Brown, a Saint Louis University graduate who played four years for the Billikens from 2004-08, was named player development coordinator in March 2014 after serving as a senior graduate manager at SLU.

Brown was on the SLU staff for two NCAA Tournament apperances in 2013 and 2014. The Billikens also won A-10 regular-season titles during both of those seasons.

As player development coordinator, Brown assisted men’s basketball student-athletes with various life skills situations. He was involved in other facets of the men’s basketball operation as well, including scouting, academic counseling and community outreach. 

Brown appeared in 116 games in his four-year Billiken career. His best campaign came as a senior in 2007-08, Rick Majerus’ first Billiken sideline. Brown pumped in 7.0 ppg and pulled down 2.9 rpg, both career highs. He had the best outing of his career in his final game when he scored a career-high 24 points against Dayton in the Atlantic 10 Conference Tournament. Brown's 49 percent (25-51) shooting mark from 3-point range that year is second in Billiken history in a single season.

After graduating with a degree in Business Administration from Saint Louis in 2008, Brown played professionally for three years in Spain, Cyprus, Australia, Venezuela and Mexico.
