Davell Roby

Davell Roby, who played for the Billikens from 2014-18 and accumulated more than 1,000 career points, was added to the SLU staff as a Graduate Student Manager prior to the 2021-22 season.
 
Roby’s four-year Billiken career saw him play two seasons under Jim Crews and his final two under Travis Ford. He appeared in 128 games (103 starts) during his career and is one of 33 players in program history who have recorded more than 1,000-career points. Roby flourished under Ford, averaging 11.6 ppg his junior and senior seasons while playing more than 30 minutes per game.

Roby received a B.A. in Education from SLU in 2018. He then played three seasons of professional basketball overseas with Brno in the Czech Republic and MBC Mykolaiv in Ukraine.
 
A native of Memphis, Tennessee, Roby prepped at White Station High School and played for Team Penny’s AAU program.
