David Pavlakovich is in his first season in 2019-20 as the SLU men’s basketball video and analytics coordinator.
In his role, Pavlakovich (pronounced Puh-lock-o-vitch) works daily with the Billikens’ coaching staff in the development of game and scouting plans with use of film breakdown and proprietary analytics tools. In addition, he cuts and distributes film to Billikens' student-athletes as a way to enhance their game.
Pavlakovich’s previous full-time collegiate experience includes stops as video coordinator at Boise State (2018-19) and Weber State (2017-18). He came to SLU after a stint at Hudl in Lincoln, Nebraska, where he was an expert in the film breakdown system SportsCode.
A 2017 graduate of the University of Colorado, Pavlakovich served as a student manager for the Buffaloes’ men’s basketball team all four years. He took on elevated responsibilities as assistant video coordinator during his time in Boulder.
Pavlakovich earned a Business Administration degree from Colorado. In 2019, he earned a master’s in Athletic Leadership from Clemson University.
