Saint Louis Billikens Athletics

Eddie Maruggi joined the Billikens’ support staff as a Graduate Student Manager prior to the 2020-21 season.  

A native of St. Paul, Minnesota, Maruggi is no stranger to the program as he served as a team manager for three seasons. He earned a B.S. in Finance (Business Analytics minor) from Saint Louis University in May 2020. 

In addition to his role as team manager, Maruggi was the Men’s Basketball Sports Performance Intern under Assistant Director of Athletics for Sports Performance Robb Hornett. In that role, Maruggi assisted in team and individual lift sessions, as well as in providing proper nutritional needs for the team. 

Along with current team manager Matt Godar, Maruggi created the M&G Analytics Twitter page, an account that analyzes individual and team advanced stats. Some of Maruggi’s other projects include volunteering for Jordan Sperber’s Hoop Vision as well as mentoring under Coach Larry Suggs.
