• A one-time top-50 prospect in ESPN's recruiting rankings, Pearson is the highest-rated recruit to sign with the program since Larry Hughes (1997-98).
• Prepped at John Burroughs School in St. Louis under former Billiken Darryl "Pee Wee" Lenard. 
• Helped lead the Bombers to a state tournament runner-up finish in 2023-24 and a district title game appearance in 2024-25, contributing to an impressive 69-19 team record over his career. 
• As a senior, he averaged 16.6 points, 10.2 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game while shooting 64.2 percent from the field.
• Earned All-State and All-District honors, along with first-team All-Metro Conference recognition for the third consecutive year as a senior.
• As a junior, posted 13.2 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game, helping guide the team to a 27-5 record and a berth in the state title game.
• Led the program in blocked shots during each of his final two seasons.
• Competed on the AAU circuit with Brad Beal Elite, capturing the Peach Jam U16 championship in 2024 and the U17 title in 2025.
