• Prepped at St. Louis University High School under former Billiken Erwin Claggett.
• Scored 1,262 points and averaged 16.2 ppg over his career for the Junior Billikens.
• Averaged 19.2 points and 5.8 rebounds as a senior while helping SLUH to its first District Championship in six years. 
• Two-time Missouri Class 6 All-State selection by the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association.
• Three-time first-team All-Conference and first-team All-District selection.
• Midwest nominee for the McDonald’s All-American Team.
• Helped lead Bradley Beal Elite to a second-place finish in the prestigious EYBL Peach Jam with 7.8 ppg.
• His father, Jack, played basketball for one year at the University of Michigan before transferring to UAB where he was a three-year starter from 1988-91.
