In her final season at Missouri, Wert was a Softball America third-team All-American, a National Fastpitch Coaches Association third-team All-Region selection, an All-Southeastern Conference first-team performer, and a College Sports Information Directors of America second-team Academic All-American. An infielder/designated player, she concluded her career with a school-record 56 home runs while ranking fifth in slugging percentage (.617) and seventh in RBIs (164) on the Tigers' all-time lists. Wert helped lead Missouri to three NCAA Championship appearances.

Wert made the Dean’s List every year, earned SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll plaudits three times, and was a First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll member in 2018-19.

“We are excited to welcome Kim to our program,” head coach Christy Connoyer said. “She brings a high level of competitive experience as well as insight into the mental aspects of the game. Working with both offense and defense, her passion for the game will resonate with our team and enhance our competitive drive.”
