Christy Jordan joined Saint Louis as the women's basketball director of operations in May 2022.
Jordan spent the previous three seasons as the director of basketball operations for head coach Rebecca Tillett’s staff at Longwood University, where the team posted a conference championship, the program’s first NCAA Tournament appearance and the Lancers’ first NCAA Tournament victory.
Winners in 15 of their final 17 games this past season, the Lancers turned in their best overall and league records since joining the Big South, finishing 22-12 overall and 15-3 in the conference. Five Lancers earned Big South postseason accolades for a second consecutive season, including the league’s Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year.
The 22-12 overall record stands as Longwood’s best in its Division I era, a mark that beats the 16-13 record of the 2007-08 team in the Lancers’ first Division I season.
Jordan graduated from Old Dominion with a degree in criminal justice in 2019, where she served as a four-year manager of the women's basketball program. She was the head manager for an Old Dominion team that went 21-11 overall in 2018-19 en route to a bid into the Women’s National Invitation Tournament.
While at ODU, Jordan was responsible for the supervision of members of the scout team and other managers for practices. Her responsibilities also included handling of film equipment along with editing game and practice footage. In addition, she assisted the director of operations with travel plans and helped with summer camps.
