• Made her collegiate debut against Drake on Sept. 7

• Recorded 5+ kills in matches against Drake, UT Martin, SEMO and Marquette
• Finished her freshman campaign with 34 kills, seven digs, three assists and one service ace

At Downers Grove H.S.

• Four-year varsity starter who registered 1,138 career kills
• Accumulated 131 blocks, 525 digs and 94 service aces over her first three seasons
• As a senior team captain, Mahlke was an American Volleyball Coaches Association Under Armour honorable mention All-American, My Suburban Life Player of the Year, Daily Herald All-Area and West Suburban All-Conference for a second consecutive season, a recipient of three All-Tournament honors, and one of Illinois Prep Volleyball’s “150 Players to be Seen”
• Her team-high 458 kills ranked second in Illinois Class 4A and seventh overall in the state. Mahlke led Downers Grove North to a 2018 state runner-up finish as well as conference, regional and sectional crowns for a second straight season
• Played club volleyball for 1st Alliance since 2013
• Served as 17’s team captain and helped lead the squad to Great Lakes Power League titles and national tournament appearances the past two years
• Was an Illinois State Scholar, a four-year high honor roll student, an Academic All-Conference selection, a National Honor Society member, a two-year West Suburban Conference leader, and a two-time recipient of her school’s Trojan Pride Award
