Tulsa, Okla. - Four members from the men's tennis team will enter the main draw in Tulsa, Okla., of the Omni Hotels 2002 ITA Region V Tennis Championship.

Junior Lance Vodicka and sophomore Ikaika Jobe qualified for the main draw by virtue of their records this fall. Jobe is 8-0 on the season and Vodicka has earned a world ranking of 1,411.

Junior Thomas Kwong played Matt Lopez in the first round of qualifying matches today and defeated him 6-2, 6-2. In his next match, Kwong was defeated by Carlo Contente 7-5, 6-3.

Sophomore Tom de Larzac won his qualifying match over Kirk Schuler 4-6, 6-4, 6-4.

Junior Taylor Curran lost his match with Olos Sjolund 6-1, 6-1 but defeated Mark Muskievicz 6-4, 6-4 in the back draw.

Junior Sanjeev Paramanathan won his qualifier 5-7, 6-3, 6-1 over Zlatco Letica.

Tomorrow, Vodicka, Jobe, de Larzac and Paramanathan enter Main Draw action.
