Chattanooga, Tenn. - In singles play at the 2002 ITA All-American Tournament today, sophomore Ikaika Jobe (Honolulu, Hawaii / Punahou) won his first prequalifying match by defeating Greg Archer (N. Carolina) 6-1, 7-6, 6-4 (tie breaker). Jobe will advance to tomorrow's play with his next match scheduled for 10 a.m.

Due to steady, heavy rains this afternoon, junior Lance Vodicka's (St. Louis, Mo./ SLUH) match was delayed until late evening. Vodicka played Tom Knozat (UT-Chattanooga) and defeated him 6-1, 6-1. Vodicka is set to play at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.

The tournament continues through Oct. 13.
