Louisville, Ky. - Charlotte defeated Saint Louis 4-0 Saturday on the third day of the 2002 Conference USA Men's Tennis Championship. The doubles point was not played due to weather and time constraints.

In Singles Play:

Charlotte's Ola Jonsson defeated Ikaika Jobe 7-5, 6-3 at No. 1,

Joakim Peterson defeated Tom de Larzac 6-0, 6-4 at No. 3,

Jonathan McGovern topped Thomas Kwong 6-3, 6-4 at No. 4

Marlo Santoso defeated Taylor Curran 6-7(3), 6-1, 6-2 at No. 5.

Charlotte takes a ninth place finish in the league. Saint Louis is eliminated from the tournament and finishes tied for eleventh.
