ST. LOUIS - Joe Flanagan and Drew Feder won their No. 1 doubles match, but Bradley captured the doubles point and swept the singles matches for a 7-0 victory over Saint Louis Friday afternoon at Sunset Tennis Center.

Flanagan and Feder defeated Eric Nguyen and Ashton Kalhorn 8-4. But the Braves (6-2) claimed a 1-0 lead by winning Nos. 2 and 3.

Several of the singles matches were closely contested. Nguyen nipped Flanagan 7-5, 4-6, 6-4 at No. 1, while Kalhorn was a 5-7, 7-6, 10-7 winner over Feder at No. 4. Juan Cuadrado edged Nishaad Balachandran 6-4, 7-5 at No. 3, and Arthur Romanet downed Patrick Kella 7-6, 6-4 at No. 5.

"The match was a lot closer than the final score indicates," assistant coach Adam Reeb said. "We competed hard but came up a little short in the close matches. I expect us to learn from it and continue to get better."

The Billikens (3-1) play Sunday at Southern Illinois. First serve is slated for noon.
