THE BASICS

Saint Louis dropped a 76-68 decision at La Salle Wednesday night in Atlantic 10 Conference men's basketball action at Tom Gola Arena.

The Billikens dip to 10-19 overall and 5-12 in the A-10. La Salle improves to 8-20 and 4-13 in the league.

Davell Roby (16 points), Jermaine Bishop (15 points) and Mike Crawford (14 points) led the Billikens in scoring. Reggie Agbeko registered a career-high 13 rebounds.

BILLIKEN NOTABLES

-- Saint Louis was 17-of-18 from the line, its best percentage (.944) with at least 18 attempts since also going 17-of-18 in 2004 against Oakland.

-- Roby (8-of-8) and Crawford (6-of-6) were both perfect from the foul line.

-- Roby scored all but two of his team-high 16 points in the second half. He finished 3-of-5 from the field and 2-of-3 from beyond the arc.

-- Crawford was 3-of-7 from the field, which included two 3-pointers.

-- Bishop was 5-of-16 from the field and also sank two 3-pointers.

-- Agbeko scored eight points to go along with his game- and career-high 13 rebounds.

HOW IT HAPPENED

-- The game featured three ties and seven lead changes.

-- La Salle grabbed the lead with six minutes left in the first half and led the rest of the way.

-- Despite a late triple by SLU's Marcus Bartley in the first half, La Salle took a six-point lead (31-25) into the break.

-- In the second half, the Billikens rallied to pull within five of the lead in the closing minute but was not able to get any closer as they suffered their second straight loss in Philadelphia.

LA SALLE LEADERS

-- Cleon Roberts scored a game-high 23 points, which included six 3-pointers.

UP NEXT

-- The Billikens return to action Saturday night when it faces St. Bonaventure for Senior Night at 7 p.m. Austin Eagleton, Ash Yacoubou and the SLU senior team managers will be recognized following the game.
