ABOUT TONIGHT'S MATCH

-- Saint Louis goes for its seventh consecutive win and looks to remain undefeated in Atlantic 10 Conference play when it hosts Dayton tonight at Hermann Stadium. Game time is 7 p.m.

-- At halftime of tonight's match, the 1969 Billikens will be recognized on the field in honor of the 50th anniversary of their NCAA championship. SLU went 13-0 and captured the seventh of an NCAA-record 10 national titles.

ABOUT THE BILLIKENS

-- Saint Louis has won six in a row and nine of its last 10 and enters tonight's game 9-3 overall, 5-0 in Atlantic 10 Conference games.

-- The Billikens have registered four consecutive shutouts. In fact, SLU has yet to allow a goal in its five conference games.

-- SLU is coming off a 1-0 victory over Denver on Tuesday night. Sophomore midfielder John Klein scored the game-winning goal in the second half.

-- Senior forward Leo Novaes leads the Billikens in scoring with 17 points (6G, 5A). Senior midfielder Devin Boyce follows with 11 points (4G, 3A).

-- Freshman goalkeeper Patrick Schulte, the reigning A-10 Defensive Player of the Week, sports a 0.77 goals against average and seven shutouts.

-- The Billikens were predicted by Atlantic 10 Conference head men's soccer coaches to finish second in the league race in the annual A-10 preseason poll. SLU received two first-place votes. 

-- Earning spots on the A-10 preseason All-Conference team were sophomore Simon Becher, sophomore John Klein and senior Quayyum Murana.

KALISH IN SECOND YEAR AS BILLIKENS' HEAD COACH

-- Kevin Kalish, a Saint Louis University alumnus and Billiken All-American, is in his second season on the Billikens' sideline.

-- The seventh head coach in the storied history of the SLU men's soccer program, Kalish previously served as Vice President and Missouri Boys Club Director for St. Louis Scott Gallagher. He also was head coach at SIU Edwardsville for six seasons (2008-13).

-- Kalish has an eight-year head coaching career record of 64-53-21. He is 15-7-7 in two years at SLU.

2019 A-10 CHAMPIONSHIP

-- The 2019 Atlantic 10 Conference Men's Soccer Championship will feature the league's top eight teams at the end of the regular season.

-- The A-10 quarterfinals will be held Nov. 9-10 on campus sites, with the top four seeds hosting. If the Billikens host a quarterfinal match, it will be played on Saturday, Nov. 9, at 2 p.m. at Hermann Stadium.

-- Fordham University will serve as the host of the A-10 semifinals on Friday, Nov. 15, and the A-10 final on Sunday, Nov. 17. The games will be played at Jack Coffey Field in the Bronx, N.Y.

SCOUTING DAYTON

-- Dayton enters tonight's match 7-7 overall and 2-2 in A-10 play.

-- The Flyers have won two in a row, including a 6-2 win against St. Bonaventure last weekend.

-- Jonas Fjeldberg leads the Flyers in scoring with 21 points (7G, 7A). He was named A-10 Offensive Player of the Week on Monday as he registered a school-record five assists in the Flyers' win against St. Bonaventure.

-- Toluwalase Oladeinbo has scored a team-high eight goals for the Flyers. He scored three goals last week, earning A-10 Rookie of the Week plaudits for the second time this season.

-- Federico Barrios has seen the majority of minutes in goal for Dayton.

-- Head coach Dennis Currier is in his 15th season at Dayton. His first head-coaching job was at Harris-Stowe, where he served from 1993 to 2000.
