Myia Clark dropped a career-high 24 points and Kendra Wilken recorded her third double-double on the season to lead Saint Louis to a 72-51 win over St. Bonaventure Wednesday night.
Clark tied a career-high with four 3-pointers for the Billikens (10-7, 2-2 A-10), along with collecting three rebounds and three assists on the night. Wilken tallied 14 points, while also posting career bests in rebounds (12) and blocks (5).
Ciaja Harbison shot 8-of-15 from the field on her way to 18 points and three assists.
Freshman Rachel Kent nearly recorded her first double-double, scoring 10 points and grabbing nine rebounds, along with three assists and two steals.
Off the bench, Myriama Smith Traore pulled down nine rebounds, scored five points, blocked two shots and dished out two assists.
The Billikens out-rebounded St. Bonaventure 44-23 on the night, while also tying a season best in assists with 17.
Emily Calabrese and Asianae Johnson led the way for the Bonnies (4-13, 1-3 A-10), scoring 14 and 13 points, respectively. Dajah Logan grabbed a team-best five rebounds, and Deja Francis tallied a game-high five assists.
Kent and Wilken led off the game with back-to-back 3-pointers for the Billikens. SLU went on to shoot 4-for-4 from distance in the first quarter and hold a 19-16 lead.
Six points from Clark and four from Wilken in the second period led SLU to a 34-28 advantage headed to the locker room.
Two Clark 3-pointers sparked an 8-0 run for the Billikens in the third, giving them a 46-30 lead. At the end of the period, SLU was in front 52-38.
Saint Louis went off for 20 points in the fourth quarter, including a 14-2 run, to finish off the Bonnies and leave with a 72-51 victory.
The Billikens hit the road for the next two, beginning with Dayton on Sunday. Tip off is at 1 p.m. CT, and the game will be televised on CBS Sports Network.
