Kendra Wilken recorded her second career double-double and Ciaja Harbison added 13 points, but Saint Louis fell 65-58 in the Atlantic 10 Conference opener for both teams.
Wilken collected 11 points and 11 rebounds for the Billikens (8-6). Harbison, who led SLU in scoring for the seventh game this season, also tallied six assists and four rebounds.
Brooke Flowers grabbed a team-high 12 rebounds, along with six points and four blocks. Her 101 career blocked shots now rank third all-time at Saint Louis, five behind Missy Meinberg for second.
Freshman Jaidah Stewart scored a career-high 11 points, all coming in the fourth quarter, while also recording five rebounds and two assists. Myia Clark had a season-high seven rebounds, along with nine points and four assists.
Suzi-Rose Deegan led the Wildcats (8-6) with 25 points and 14 rebounds.
Saint Louis began the game on a 10-0 run, eventually stretching its lead to 15-2. Davidson used a 12-0 run in the second quarter to tie the game at 21, but a Flowers three-point play gave SLU a 24-21 advantage at the half.
The Wildcats outscored Saint Louis 28-13 in the third quarter, taking a 49-37 lead into the fourth.
A Stewart 3-pointer late in the game pulled the Billikens with three at 61-58, but Davidson connected on its free throws down the stretch to defeat SLU 65-58.
The Billikens travel to La Salle Wednesday, Jan. 8, for their first league road contest of the season. Tip time is 6 p.m. CT, and the game will be streamed to ESPN+.
