• Texas State used a late rally to upend Saint Louis 4-1 Friday evening at the Bobcat Classic.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Gabbie Kowalik's RBI double in the top of the third inning put the Billikens on top 1-0.
• Texas State loaded the bases in the bottom of the third, but SLU starter Chloe Wendling kept the Bobcats off the scoreboard.
• Texas State plated the tying run in the fifth and scored three times in the sixth.
 
BILLIKEN NOTABLES
• Kat Lane was 2-for-3.
• Maria Connell and Kristi Stevenson recorded a double and a single, respectively.
 
UP NEXT
The Billikens play twice Saturday on day two of the Bobcat Classic, facing Texas State at noon and Texas-San Antonio at 5 p.m.
