THE BASICS
• Saint Louis fell twice Saturday on day two of the Bobcat Classic, 12-0 to Texas State and 7-6 to Texas-San Antonio.
 
GAME 1 – HOW IT HAPPENED
• Texas State scored once in the second inning and 11 times in the third.
 
GAME 1 – BILLIKEN NOTABLES
• Kelsey Etling and Kayla Swiderski had a single apiece.
 
GAME 2 – HOW IT HAPPENED
• UTSA led 3-0 after scoring two runs in the first and one in the second.
• Saint Louis scored its first run in the bottom of the third inning on a wild pitch.
• The teams traded runs in the fourth. Maria Connell delivered a two-out RBI double, making it 4-2.
• The Billikens took a 6-4 lead by plating four runs in the fifth, three of which scored with two outs. The first came on a wild pitch, followed by Etling's bases-loaded walk and RBI singles by Connell and Swiderski.
• UTSA pulled even with two runs in the sixth and tallied what proved to be the winning run in the seventh.
 
GAME 2 – BILLIKEN NOTABLES
• Swiderski had a third-inning single to join Connell with two hits.
• Kat Lane, Sadie Wise, Kristi Stevenson and Allie Herron collected a single apiece.

The Billikens conclude play in the Bobcat Classic Sunday with a 10 a.m. game vs. Texas-San Antonio.
