HOW IT HAPPENED

• Redding and Sutherland both picked up their second RBIs of the game in the third, Redding with a sacrifice fly bringing home Bartlett and Sutherland driving in Garella with a single.
• Smith tripled to begin the fourth inning and then scored on a Garella double to put the Billikens up 6-0 at the end of the fourth.
• Ohio picked up one run in the fifth and another in its half of the seventh, cutting the SLU lead to 6-2.
•  Garella drilled his second double of the game in the ninth inning, eventually coming around to score the Billikens' seventh run on a Bobcat error.
