THE BASICS
• Saint Louis completed play in Chattanooga's Frost Classic with a 4-2 loss to Miami (Ohio) Sunday morning.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
• The teams exchanged runs in the first inning. Saint Louis recorded the tying tally in the bottom half on Maria Connell's two-out RBI double.
• The Billikens took a 2-1 lead in the third. Connell again came through with two outs, rapping an RBI infield single.
• Miami pulled even in the fourth and scored twice in the sixth.
 
BILLIKEN NOTABLES
• Gabbie Kowalik had two hits, including a triple.
• Kat Lane, Sadie Wise, Kayla Swiderski and Aubrey Hacke had a single apiece.
 
UP NEXT
The Billikens are idle next weekend before heading to Longwood, Florida, for the Spring Games Friday-Sunday, March 6-8. Saint Louis faces Valparaiso, Penn, Charleston Southern, Long Island and Niagara.
