HOW IT HAPPENED
• Vanderbilt recorded five runs in the second inning, including a 3-run home run off the bat of Austin Martin.
• The Commodores picked up three more in their half of the third and another in the sixth.
•  RBI singles from Corrigan Bartlett and Jake Garella put the Billikens on the board in the seventh, cutting the Vanderbilt lead to 9-2.
•  Martin's second home run of the game put Vanderbilt up 10-2 in the eighth inning.

• Jake Garella finished 2-for-4 with one RBI.
• Cole Smith went 1-for-5 with one double and one run scored.
• Zach Frieling had one hit and scored one run for the Billikens.
