The Saint Louis University Department of Athletics has taken the following precautions to mitigate the impact of COVID-19 on its staff and student-athletes. These are in addition to the University's response and processes that are continually updated here. 
 
-- Men's Basketball student-athletes will travel to their hometowns from Brooklyn, N.Y., immediately, following today's cancellation of the 2020 A-10 Men's Basketball Championship.
 
-- All athletic events on the SLU campus for the weekend have been cancelled. This includes a home baseball series against Northern Illinois and softball's Billiken Spring Tournament.
 
-- Women's Basketball student-athletes, who had been on campus preparing for postseason play, have been instructed to return to their hometowns.
 
The Department of Athletics will continue to monitor the situation and work closely with the NCAA, the Atlantic 10 Conference and University leadership to determine the next course of action. The health and safety of our students is paramount in all of our decisions. They are students, first and foremost, and athletic competition will be secondary in all of our decision-making.
