THE BASICS
• Saint Louis suffered a pair of losses at the Spring Games Saturday, falling 4-1 to Charleston Southern and 3-2 to LIU.
 
GAME 1 – HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Billikens took a 1-0 lead in the top of the third on Gabbie Kowalik's RBI ground ball.
• Charleston Southern scored all four of its runs in the bottom of the fourth.
 
GAME 1 – BILLIKEN NOTABLES
• Sadie Wise collected two singles.
• Kowalik and Kylie Hess had a single apiece.
• Aubrey Hacke pitched 2 1/3 innings of scoreless, hitless relief. Hacke fanned two and did not walk a batter.
 
GAME 2 – HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Billikens scored first in the top of the second on Wise's two-out RBI single.
• LIU tallied twice in the fourth.
• Saint Louis pulled even in the seventh when Kowalik delivered an RBI single.
• LIU answered with a run in the bottom of the seventh.
 
GAME 2 – BILLIKEN NOTABLES
• Wise added a double for her fourth straight two-hit game. She has hit safely in 11 straight outings.
• Kat Lane and Kelsey Etling recorded two singles apiece.
• Maria Connell and Kayla Swiderski each had a single.
 
UP NEXT
The Billikens play their final game at the Spring Games on Sunday, taking on Niagara at 8:15 a.m. (CDT).
