THE BASICS
• Jake Garella and Cam Redding combined for six hits, four runs and three RBIs in Saint Louis' 9-2 win over Bowling Green Sunday afternoon.
• The win marked head coach Darin Hendrickson's 400th in a Billikens uniform. He is in his 13th season.
• The Billikens won their fourth in a row, improving to 10-4, while the Falcons dropped to 1-11.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Saint Louis started its half of the first with four consecutive singles, including a Redding two-RBI base knock. A Falcons' error scored a third run for the Billikens, putting them up 3-0.
• Bowling Green answered with two of its own in the top of the second, on a two-RBI triple off the bat of Trent Farquhar.
• The Billikens posted another big inning in the third, collecting four runs and padding their lead to 7-2. Redding picked up his third RBI, driving in Corrigan Bartlett with a single. Colten Schild and Ryan Hernandez also both picked up RBI singles in the inning.
• SLU added a run in the sixth on a bases-loaded wild pitch and another in the eighth on a Kyle Fitzgerald RBI double.
BILLIKEN NOTABLES
• Matt Boyer picked up his third win of the season, allowing just one earned run in 5.2 innings. The freshman allowed three hits and struck out one.
• Redding reached base five times in the game, going 3-for-3 with two walks. He tallied three RBIs and scored one run.
• Garella went 3-for-4 with three runs scored.
• Cole Smith, Bartlett, Hernandez and Fitzgerald each snagged two hits in the game.

• Saint Louis heads to Stillwater, Okla., for a two-game midweek series with Oklahoma State, beginning Tuesday.
