The July 20 seminar was targeted toward student-athletes of all majors and featured presentations by four Billiken alumni:

Brad Byars, swimming & diving – Owner of The Law Office of Bradley S. Byars and Associate General Counsel, Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute;

Dr. Mike Jones, men's basketball – Associate Director of Community Science at Brown School, Washington University in St. Louis;
Â
Dr. Sally Warning, volleyball – Senior Systems Engineer I, Raytheon Technologies

Amanda Martin, women's soccer – Diversity and Inclusion Manager/Talent Operations, Deloitte

"We extend our gratitude to Amanda, Brad, Mike and Sally for their willingness to help and support our student-athletes," SLU Director of Athletics
Chris May said. "They are bright leaders in their fields, and we are so proud they are Billikens. We also thank our friends in Career Services for their support as we work together to offer these valuable experiences for our students."

Kaiya Luneckas, an incoming freshman on the Billiken softball team from West Branch, Iowa. "They gave great advice that I will take forward into my time as a student-athlete and then into the work world. Thanks to everyone involved for putting on the seminar."

Zoom seminars for health care majors and business majors are scheduled for Monday, July 27, and early August, respectively.
