NCAA Championship Bracket

ST. LOUIS – Atlantic 10 Conference tournament champion Saint Louis faces Mississippi of the Southeastern Conference in an NCAA Women's Soccer Championship first-round game Friday, Nov. 12, at Ole Miss Soccer Stadium in Oxford, Mississippi. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. Central.

The NCAA Championship appearance is Saint Louis' sixth overall and fourth in as many years.

Saint Louis (12-8-1) defeated Massachusetts 4-1 in the A-10 Championship title game Nov. 7 to become the first women's soccer team in league history to capture four consecutive conference tournament crowns. The Billikens, who have won eight of their last nine games, placed third (7-3) in the A-10 regular-season standings.

Ole Miss (12-5-3) fell to 10th-ranked Tennessee, the eventual tournament champion, 3-2 in the SEC Championship semifinals. The Rebels tied for third (6-3-1) in SEC regular-season play.

The Saint Louis-Ole Miss series is tied 2-2. The Billikens won the first two meetings in 2004 and 2005, while the Rebels were victorious in 2012 and 2013. SLU's Katie Shields was a Billiken assistant in 2012 before taking over as head coach in 2013.

Tickets are on sale now and may be purchased here. General admission is $10.00 for adults and $8.00 for youth (college aged and younger).

Streaming information for the game will be available later this week. Please check the women's soccer schedule page on SLU's official athletics website, www.SLUBillikens.com.

The Saint Louis-Ole Miss winner meets the Rutgers-Bucknell winner in the round of 32. Rutgers (17-3), the undefeated, untied Big Ten Conference regular-season champion, is the No. 1 seed in SLU's bracket. The Scarlet Knights dropped a 1-0 decision to Michigan in the Big Ten Championship final. Bucknell (11-7-3) won the Patriot League Tournament following a fourth-place regular-season finish.
