Game Notes Saint Louis | Richmond

After having its game Thursday at Massachusetts postponed, Saint Louis (8-4, 0-0 A-10) will open the Atlantic 10 Conference season on Sunday afternoon when it welcomes in the Richmond Spiders (9-5, 0-1 A-10) to Chaifetz Arena. Tipoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.

FOLLOW THE ACTION

The game will be televised on CBS Sports Network, with Chick Hernandez and Michael O'Donnell on the call.

The radio broadcast will air on KFTK 97.1 FM, as there is a programming conflict on the home for the Billikens, KMOX 1120 AM. As always, Billiken Hall of Famers Bob Ramsey and Earl Austin Jr. will be on the call.

PROMOTIONS

Sunday's game is presented by St. Patrick Center. Fans who bring cold weather clothing for donation will receive a free ticket to the game. The items will be collected by St. Patrick Center and donated to the homeless in the St. Louis area.

The popular Red Panda acrobat is back at Chaifetz Arena and will perform at halftime.

Here are five key facts about the Billikens that you need to know:

1 // Yuri Collins continues to lead the NCAA in total assists (95) and assists per game (7.9). His 382 career assists is already seventh in school history. If he continues at this pace, he will break Josh Fisher's school record of 436 at some point in January.

2 // Gibson Jimerson leads the Billikens and ranks eighth in the A-10 in scoring with 16.3 ppg. He is second in the A-10 in free throws made (48) and free throw percentage (.889).

3 // Saint Louis leads the Atlantic 10 in the following statistical categories: scoring offense (82.1 ppg), scoring margin (+14.1), total rebounds (468), offensive rebounds per game (13.0), rebound margin (+7.4), free throws attempted (285) and free throws made (214).

4 // Jordan Goodwin, who played for the Billikens from 2017-21, made his NBA debut with the Washington Wizards on Tuesday, Dec. 28, playing three minutes against the Miami Heat. He also played three minutes and collected a rebound in Washington's win against Cleveland on Dec. 30.

5 // Saint Louis is in its 17th year playing in the A-10. The Billikens have an all-time record of 139-123 in A-10 tilts. SLU has won two A-10 regular-season crowns (2013 and 2014) and two A-10 tournament titles (2013 and 2019).
