THE BASICS
• Saint Louis turned away a pesky Davidson team Sunday afternoon at Chaifetz Pavilion, defeating the Wildcats 25-13, 25-20, 25-22 to complete a three-match weekend sweep.
• The Billikens improved to 5-4 overall and 4-1 in the Atlantic 10 Conference. The Wildcats slipped to 1-4, 0-3.

FIRST SET
• The set was tied five times in the early going before the Billikens embarked on an 11-2 run.
•
Maya Taylor had three kills during the run, which put SLU on top 20-10 en route to a 12-point victory.
SECOND SET
• There were eight ties and five lead changes from the outset, and neither team led by more than two points until Saint Louis managed to gain a 15-12 edge.
• The Billikens still led by three, 20-17, before Davidson scored three consecutive points to deadlock the set at 20.
• SLU regrouped, however, and closed the set with a 5-0 run – a
Delaney Rice kill, an
Emily Imo service ace and three Davidson attack errors, the last of which came on a block by Rice and
Sara Daniels that concluded the set.

THIRD SET
• The Bills tallied the first three points and never trailed, although Davidson trimmed a five-point deficit to one, 19-18.
• Saint Louis scored four of the next five points, including two kills by
Emily Henken, to build a 23-19 lead.
• The Wildcats answered with three straight points of their own, but kills by
Juliana Phillips and
Kennedy Cordia finished the set and the match in the Billikens' favor.

NOTABLE
• The Billikens turned in a .355 attack percentage while limiting Davidson to .131.
• SLU featured a balanced offensive attack as five players collected between seven and 12 kills. Taylor led with a match-high 12, followed by Henken (11), Daniels (eight),
Jillian Mattingly (eight) and Phillips (seven).
• Phillips had a .700 (7-0-10) attack percentage, and Daniels checked in at .467 (8-1-15).
• Imo led all players with 19 digs, while Taylor and Henken chipped in nine and eight, respectively.
• Cordia notched 42 assists.
• Daniels had three blocks.
