Here are five additional facts in advance of Friday's game against Richmond:Â
1 // Jordan Goodwin is 12 points away from surpassing Ed Macauley for 12th place on SLU's all-time scoring list.Â
2Â // Hasahn French moved past Virgel Cobbin and Jack Mimlitz on the SLU career scoring list after a 21-point outing at VCU, and he needs seven more points to move into 25th place ahead of Bob Ferry.Â
3 // Javonte Perkins currently ranks 11th in school history with a career scoring average of 15.7 ppg. It's the best career scoring average by a Billiken since the late Justin Love averaged 16.3 ppg in his career from 1999-2001.
4 // Goodwin is fourth in the NCAA with 12 double-doubles. His 35 career double-doubles rank third among all active NCAA Division I players.
5 // This is the 20th meeting all time between the Billikens and Spiders. SLU holds an 11-8 lead in the series, though the Spiders won the last game at Chaifetz Arena, 84-81, on Jan. 30, 2019. Â
Up next: The Billikens host Massachusetts on Monday, March 1, at Chaifetz Arena. Game time is 5 p.m. (CT) on KMOX and CBS Sports Network. The A-10 Men's Basketball Championship begins Wednesday, March 3, in Richmond, Virginia.
