THE BASICS
• Maya Taylor recorded a season-high 23 kills and Kennedy Cordia tallied 41 assists in Saint Louis' 3-0 sweep over Atlantic 10 Conference foe Duquesne Sunday afternoon at Chaifetz Pavilion.
• The Billikens won their fifth league match in a row, improving their record to 6-6 overall, 5-1 in the conference. The Dukes dropped to 0-3, 0-3.
FIRST SET
• SLU jumped out to a 16-12 advantage, but Duquesne used a 5-0 run to take a one-point lead.
• A Jillian Mattingly kill, followed by two Emily Henken service aces, put the Billikens back on top at 19-17.
• Taylor's 10th kill of the frame clinched the set for Saint Louis at 25-22. She hit for a .556 attack percentage in the game.
SECOND SET
• The Dukes held a four-point lead at 22-18, forcing a Billiken timeout.
• Saint Louis would then take six of the next seven points to hold set point at 24-23.
• Duquesne tied it up at 24-24, but back-to-back Taylor kills finished off the set for SLU, 26-24.
THIRD SET
• SLU took the first five points, and it was all Billikens from there.
• Emily Imo's second ace of the match gave SLU a 16-9 advantage.
• The Billikens took the set 25-13.
NOTABLE
• Taylor finished with 23 kills and a .353 hitting percentage. She added nine digs, one service ace and one assist.
• Cordia collected a seventh double-double on the season, tallying 41 assists and 10 digs.
• Henken had a career-high four service aces, to go along with nine digs and three kills.
• Mattingly hit for a .455 hitting percentage, with six kills.
• Imo recorded 12 digs and two service aces.
