Billikens Complete Comeback Over Hawks

THE BASICS
• Saint Louis trailed by as many as 12 points in the second half, but 21 points from Rachel Kent and 15 second-half points from Ciaja Harbison led the Billikens to a 63-60 Atlantic 10 Conference win Sunday afternoon in Philadelphia, Pa.
• Myriama Smith Traore posted her third double-double this season and fourth in her career.
• The Billikens have won four of their last five games, improving to 6-3 overall and 4-3 in league play. Saint Joseph's dropped to 5-4, 3-4.

FIRST QUARTER
• Five straight points from Ciaja Harbison gave the Billikens a 7-5 lead, but SJU scored the next seven.
• SLU held the Hawks scoreless for over four minutes, helping the Billikens knot the game back at 12.
• A jumper right before the buzzer gave Saint Joseph's a 14-12 lead after one period of play.

SECOND QUARTER
• SJU connected on the first three field goals of the frame, but Rachel Kent's second three-pointer of the game brought the Billikens back within six at 23-17. 
• After falling down 10 at 29-19, the Billikens used an 8-0 run to trail by just two.
• The Hawks posted the final five points of the half to hold a 34-27 lead.

THIRD QUARTER
• Saint Joseph's took their largest lead of the game at 45-33 at 6:07, but Harbison answered with a 5-0 run of her own to pull the Billikens back within eight.
• The Billikens continued Harbison's spurt to make it 10 straight SLU points, pulling them within two at 45-43.
• Kent's two free throws near the end of the quarter brought the score to 49-45 in favor of the Hawks.

FOURTH QUARTER
• Five consecutive Billiken free throws gave SLU its first lead of the game (50-49) since the first quarter.
• The Hawks responded taking back the advantage at 55-53 at 3:18, but it would be the last time they held an edge in scoring over the Billikens.
• Harbison and Kent combined for eight of the next 10 points, and Smith Traore sank both her free throws to bring the Billikens' score to 63.

BILLIKEN NOTABLES
• Kent finished with a season-high 21 points on 6-of-10 shooting, while also adding nine rebounds. This was the sixth time this season she connected on three shots from behind the arc.
• Harbison scored 15 of her 20 points in the second half, despite only playing 22 minutes in the game.
• The game marked the first time two Billikens scored 20 points in the same game this season.
• Smith Traore grabbed five of her 10 rebounds on the offensive glass. She also tallied 10 points, for her third double-double of the season.
• The win was head Coach Lisa Stone's 650th of her career.
