THE BASICS
• Ciaja Harbison recorded a career-high 30 points to lead Saint Louis to an 81-58 Atlantic 10 Conference victory over Saint Joseph's Monday evening in Philadelphia, Pa.
• Harbison became the first women's basketball player at SLU to score 30 points in a game since Maddison Gitts on January 31, 2018.
• The Billikens swept their Philadelphia road trip, taking two from the Hawks and one contest at La Salle, to bring their record to 7-3 overall and 5-3 in league play. Saint Joseph's slipped to 5-5, 3-5.
FIRST QUARTER
• Rachel Kent and Natalie McNeal both connected on two 3-pointers in the quarter, including McNeal's second at 3:15 that gave the Billikens a 15-8 lead.
• At 1:07, Kent drained her second trey to put SLU up 20-12.
• Myriama Smith Traore's five offensive rebounds helped the Billikens to 10 second-chance points in the period. She pulled down her sixth rebound of the quarter with seconds left and beat the buzzer with a putback to give SLU a 22-13 advantage.
SECOND QUARTER
• The Billikens used two 6-0 runs early in the period to pull ahead 36-18.
• McNeal's 10th point of the game gave SLU a 40-20 edge at 0:56.
• The Hawks tallied a bucket at the buzzer, bringing the score to 43-24 at the half.
THIRD QUARTER
• Harbison and Kent sunk back-to-back three-pointers at 5:39 to put SLU up 51-31 and force the Hawks to call a timeout.
• Julia Martinez converted her second-straight driving layup at 3:49 to give the Billikens a 10-2 run and a 55-33 edge.
• Harbison's 10th point of the period gave SLU a 61-38 lead, and following a Smith Traore free throw, the Billikens led 62-40 at the conclusion of the quarter.
FOURTH QUARTER
• Harbison gave the Billikens their biggest lead at 27 with her career-high 30th point at 3:17.
• Saint Louis took its second in a row from Saint Joseph's 81-57.
BILLIKEN NOTABLES
• Harbison finished with career highs in points (30) and three-point field goals (four), while also tying a season-best nine buckets. She added three steals and three assists to her stat line.
• Kent connected on a season-best four 3-pointers on her way to 16 points and three assists. The game marked her ninth-career contest with at least four made shots from behind the arc.
• Smith Traore narrowly missed back-to-back games with double-doubles, pulling down a game-high 10 rebounds and adding nine points. Her six offensive rebounds tied a career best.
• McNeal hit double digits in scoring for the first time in her collegiate career, tallying 13 points and four rebounds. The rookie went 5-8 from the field, including 2-2 from deep.
• Martinez snagged a game-best six assists, while also tying a career high with eight rebounds.
