RECAP
Despite Emily Wastell's fourth goal of the season, Saint Louis field hockey fell 3-1 at Davidson on Saturday.

The Billikens dip to 3-3 overall and 0-1 in Atlantic 10 Conference play. Davidson improves to 2-2 and 1-0 in the conference.

Davidson led 1-0 at halftime and tacked on another goal early in the second half to go up 2-0.

Wastell got the Billikens on the board with a goal in the 33rd minute. Lauren Pendergast earned the assist, her third of the season, to pull the Billikens to within one at 2-1.

The Wildcats got an insurance tally several minutes later for the 3-1 final.

Kendyl Underwood recorded four saves for the Billikens.

Saint Louis remains in North Carolina where it will face Appalachian State on Monday. Game time is 10 a.m. (CT).
