• Kat Lane had two hits and Gabbie Kowalik drove in a run in Saint Louis' 6-1 loss to Southeast Missouri State Wednesday afternoon at the Billiken Sports Center.
• SLU fell to 5-13, while SEMO improved to 11-10.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
• A solo home run in the third inning gave SEMO a 1-0 lead.
• The Redhawks struck for five runs in the fifth.
• The Billikens plated their run in the sixth. Lane led off with a single, advanced to second on a wild pitch and scored on Kowalik's two-out double.

• Starting pitcher Aubrey Hacke allowed just two earned runs in 4 2/3 innings.
• Kelsey Etling and Kristi Stevenson had a single apiece.
• Kaili Hanner pitched 2 1/3 innings of one-hit scoreless relief.
