•Gabbie Kowalik had two hits, including her team-leading sixth home run of the season, in Saint Louis' 10-4 loss to 17th-ranked Missouri Tuesday afternoon at the Billiken Sports Center.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
•The Billikens scored a pair of two-out runs in the bottom of the first inning. Kelsey Etling drove in the first with a single, and the second crossed on a passed ball.
•Missouri tied it with single runs in the third and fourth, and the Tigers took a 4-2 lead in the fifth.
•Kowalik's solo blast in the SLU fifth made it a one-run game.
•Missouri answered with four tallies in the sixth.
•Back-to-back two-out doubles by Jocelyn Abbott and Kristi Stevenson in the bottom of the sixth cut the lead to 8-4.
•Missouri plated two insurance runs in the seventh.
 
BILLIKEN NOTABLES
•Kat Lane and Alyssa Chavez collected a single apiece.
•Starting pitcher Chloe Wendling allowed a run on two hits in three innings of work.
