THE BASICS
•Chloe Wendling pitched the second perfect game in Saint Louis softball history Friday afternoon as the Billikens routed Dayton 15-0 in game one of a doubleheader at the Billiken Sports Center.
•Nicole Bohnenstiehl tossed the Billikens' only other perfect game March 13, 2001, vs. Appalachian State.
•Wendling's gem is SLU's fifth no-hitter overall and first since Brianna Lore no-hit Kennesaw State March 6, 2015.
•Dayton won the nightcap 9-7.

•Saint Louis erupted for 10 runs in the first inning as eight different Billikens picked up at least one RBI. Cami Newbanks smacked a two-run single; Kayla Swiderski, Kristi Stevenson, Kat Lane and Gabbie Kowalik produced RBI singles; and Alyssa Chavez, Kelsey Etling and Sadie Wise drew bases-loaded walks.
•Kowalik slammed an RBI triple in the third.
•The Billikens added four tallies in the fourth. Wise drove in two with a single, while Lane and Chavez each recorded an RBI single.

•Wendling struck out three.
•Lane and Kowalik both were 3-for-3.
•Allie Herron had a double.

GAME 2 – HOW IT HAPPENED
•SLU took a 2-0 lead in the first on Wise's RBI single and Swiderski's RBI groundout.
•Dayton scored twice in the second to tie it.

•The Flyers plated a run in the third, forged a 6-6 tie with three in the fourth, and pulled ahead 9-6 with another three tallies in the fifth.
•A two-out error in the Saint Louis seventh scored a run and brought the tying run to the plate, but the Billikens drew no closer.
