• Saint Louis came up short against Kansas Saturday evening, falling 5-1 to the Jayhawks at Billiken Sports Center.
• The Billikens moved to 2-8 on the season, while Kansas went to 4-5.

• Kansas struck first in the game, scoring two in its half of the fourth inning.
• The Jayhawks added two more in the fifth on a Nolan Metcalf single, giving KU a 4-0 lead.
