• Saint Louis split Saturday's double-header at George Washington, winning game one 7-2 but falling in game two 14-7.
• The Billikens moved to 14-24 on the season and 4-3 in league play, while George Washington went to 19-11, 8-3.
GAME ONE SCORING
• Saint Louis scored six runs in the top of the eighth inning, including a two-run home run from Colin Bergmann and a two-RBI single by Cole Smith. Kyle Fitzgerald, Cam Redding and Matt Happ also picked up RBIs in the frame.
• The Colonials scored their two runs in the bottom of the eighth, scoring on an RBI single and a sacrifice fly.
GAME ONE NOTABLES
• Bergmann's home run was the first of his collegiate career. He finished 2-for-3 with two RBIs and one run scored.
• Colten Schild reached base four times, going 1-for-1 with three walks and a run scored.
• Happ went 2-for-4 with an RBI.
• Trevor Harris surrendered his first run in the eighth inning. He threw a complete game, throwing 8.0 innings, allowing one earned run on eight hits and striking out four.
GAME TWO SCORING
• GW scored two in the first inning, scoring on an RBI double and a sacrifice fly.
• Smith tied the game at 2-2 with a two-run double off the left-center wall in the top of the fourth inning.
