THE BASICS
•Saint Louis earned a shutout victory in game one and walked it off in game two to complete a doubleheader sweep over Bellarmine Saturday at the Billiken Sports Center.
•Gabbie Kowalik registered three RBIs in game one, while Alyssa Chavez was the hero in game two with four RBIs.
•Sadie Wise had a double in game two to tie the SLU career doubles record.
•Saint Louis moves to 19-25 overall, while Bellarmine falls to 6-31.

GAME 1 – HOW IT HAPPENED
•The Billikens got on the board in the first when Kat Lane came around to score on an error off the bat of Chavez.
•Kowalik made it 2-0 when she drove in pinch-runner Tabby Cacheris on a sacrifice fly.
•Kowalik blasted her 10th home run of the season in the fifth inning, scoring Lane.
•Chloe Wendling scattered four hits and recorded seven strikeouts for her ninth win of the year.
GAME 1 – BILLIKEN NOTABLES
•Kowalik had three RBIs.
•Lane went 2-for-3 with two runs scored.
•Jocelyn Abbott smacked a double.
GAME 2 – HOW IT HAPPENED
•In the first, a single by Lane and a walk by Kowalik put two on for Chavez, who drove a double to left center to plate them both and give SLU an early 2-0 lead.
•After the Knights pulled to within one with a run in the second, Chavez gave SLU another two-run cushion with an RBI single in the third.
•Bellarmine took its first lead of the day with a three-run fifth inning.
•Maria Connell led off the seventh with a single, then was pinch-ran for by Cacheris.
•Wise tripled, and Cacheris scored to tie the game at 4-4.
•Chavez completed the comeback by lifting a sacrifice fly to plate Wise for the game-winning run.

GAME 2 – BILLIKEN NOTABLES
•Chavez ended up 2-for-3 with 4 RBIs. The four runs driven in tied her career high, accomplished two other times.
•Wise ended up with a double and a triple. It was the 47th double of her career, tying her with Mackenzie Peter for the Billikens' all-time lead.
•Lane, Kowalik and Connell also registered hits for the Billikens.
•Kaili Hanner earned the win after going six innings and allowing one earned run on five hits. Aubrey Hacke started in the circle and pitched a scoreless first inning.
