MATCH DETAILS
• Maya Taylor's 16th career 20-kill match led Saint Louis to a season-opening 3-0 sweep over Missouri in the Mizzou Invitational Friday afternoon at Hearnes Center in Columbia, Mo.
• The victory marked the fifth in a row for the Billikens over the Tigers, dating back to the 1994 season.
• The first set saw nine tie scores and three lead changes, but the Billikens pulled ahead late, ending the frame with three consecutive points, including set-ending back-to-back service aces from Emily Henken.
• SLU never trailed in set two, taking control from start with a 9-2 lead. Taylor posted her second straight eight-kill frame, and the Billikens took a 2-0 lead in the match.
• Set three was full of runs by both teams, leading to 11 tie scores and seven lead changes. With the score tied at 20, the Billikens took the next two points on Taylor kills. Mizzou answered with a three-point run, going  back in front at 23-22. Two Henken kills, with kill No. 21 for Taylor in between, finished off set three and capped the Billikens' sweep of the Tigers.

BILLIKEN NOTABLES
• Taylor finished with a match-high 21 kills on a .302 hitting percentage. 
• Henken neared a double-double with nine kills (.350 hitting percentage) and 12 digs. Her five service aces were a match and career best.
• Kate Aupperle collected 29 assists in her collegiate debut. She added six digs and two blocks.
• Emily Imo tallied a match-high 14 digs.
• Jillian Mattingly and Sara Daniels each recorded five total blocks.

The Billikens continue play in the Mizzou Invitational with a 5 p.m. first serve against Creighton tonight in Columbia, Mo.
