The duo helped SLU to wins over Louisville and Creighton on opening weekend. The 2-0 Billikens checked in at No. 25 in Top Drawer's national rankings, which were released yesterday.

Becher earned a spot on the 11-man Team of the Week after a collecting five points on opening weekend. He scored both goals in SLU's thrilling 2-1, double-overtime victory against Louisville in the opening game of the season. His header in the 108th minute secured the win. Against Creighton, he earned an assist on the Billikens' third goal to put the game away.

Palazzolo earned honorable mention honors on the Team of the Week. He played every minute on the back line in the two games. The SLU defense was solid, yielding just three shots on frame all weekend. Palazzolo also picked up his first goal as a Billiken, scoring SLU's opening goal in the 4-0 win over Creighton.

Saint Louis is back in action Friday, Sept. 3, when it travels to Chicago to take on the Illinois-Chicago Flames at 7 p.m. The match will be carried live on ESPN+.
