THE BASICS
• Saint Louis split it's two matches Friday in the CEFCU Classic, hosted by Bradley, at Renaissance Coliseum in Peoria, Ill.
• SLU now remains at a .500 record on the season, moving to 6-6.
• The Billikens posted the most total team blocks (18.5) since the 2005 season, but Northern Colorado came away with a five-set victory in the first match of the tournament.
• SLU held North Dakota to just a .039 hitting percentage in the afternoon match, earning the sweep against the Fighting Hawks in straight sets.
MATCH ONE NOTABLES
• SLU's 18.5 total team blocks were the most by a Billiken team since Nov. 13, 2005, at Rhode Island.
• Jillian Mattingly led the charge, with a career-best nine total blocks. She hit for a .500 hitting percentage, tallying 13 kills, along with two service aces and four digs.
• Maya Taylor recorded her second double-double of the season, with a team-high 15 kills, along with 13 digs.
• Abby Lynn had her team-leading fifth double-double, collecting 25 assists and 10 digs.
• Emily Henken posted 12 kills, nine digs and three service aces.
• Carlie Rodgers recorded a team-best 20 digs.
• Sara Daniels had eight blocks, while also tallying six kills on a .400 hitting percentage.
MATCH TWO NOTABLES
• Taylor posted a second double-double on the day, recording a match-high 11 kills, along with 10 digs.
• Kate Aupperle also had a double-double, tallying 17 assists and 12 digs.
• Delaney Rice had seven kills.
• Rodgers picked up three service aces, in addition to 12 digs.
