MATCH DETAILS
• Maya Taylor posted 19 kills and Carlie Rodgers recorded a career-high 31 digs, and Saint Louis defeated Davidson in four sets Friday night in an Atlantic 10 Conference match at John M. Belk Arena in Davidson, N.C.
• The victory was SLU's third in a row. The Billikens improved to 8-6 on the year and 1-0 in A-10 play, while Davidson moved to 4-7, 0-1.
• Set one saw eight tie scores and four lead changes, but SLU fought off a late Davidson push to win the frame 28-26. Rodgers collected 12 of her digs in the frame.
• The Wildcats controlled the second game from the start and ended the set on a 6-1 run, tying the match at 1-1.
• It was all Billikens in the third set. Following a tie score at 7-7, SLU went on a 13-1 run to hold a 20-8 advantage. Led by Delaney Rice's seven kills (.417), SLU took back the lead in the match.
• With a tie score at 8-8 in game four, the Billikens went on an 11-1 spurt to run away with the match.

BILLIKEN NOTABLES
• Rodger's claimed a new career high with 31 digs in the match, while also adding five assists.
• Rice tied her career high of 15 kills from last weekend at Bradley, hitting for a team-best .379 percentage.
• Taylor reached double figures in kills for the 13th time this season, posting a match-best 19. The senior also added nine digs and one service ace.
• Emily Henken tallied a career-best 18 digs.
• Jillian Mattingly had six blocks, along with three service aces and eight kills.
• Abby Lynn recorded her team-leading seventh double-double on the season, with 27 assists and 11 digs.

Saint Louis will travel to Richmond, Va., for an A-10 contest against VCU on Sunday, Sept. 26. First serve is set for noon (CT) on ESPN+.
