RECAP
Saint Louis posted a 23-8 edge in shots, but Lindenwood defeated the Billikens 3-2 Tuesday night at Hunter Stadium in St. Charles, Mo.

The Billikens moved to 1-9 on the season, while Lindenwood went to 5-4.

Lindenwood scored in each of the first two quarters to take a 2-0 lead into halftime.

Julianne Sacco's first goal of the season brought SLU back within one at 52:38, but the Lions regained their two-goal lead with a tally at 55:39.

Lotte Teunissen kept the Billikens in it with her second goal of the year at 56:17, but the Lions held SLU from finding the back of the cage again.

Grace Golembiewski led all players with six shots. Teunissen had five, and Josefina Perez collected four.

Up next, the Billikens will travel to Philadelphia, Pa., this weekend for games against La Salle and ninth-ranked Saint Joseph's.
