Saint Louis head women's basketball coach Lisa Stone has announced the addition of Anna Maria Prifti to the Billikens.

"We are thrilled to have Anna Maria join our Billiken family," Stone said. "She can shoot the ball and defend the perimeter very well. She's a welcomed addition to our team and will add immediate depth to our perimeter."

Prifti, a 6'0 guard/forward from Athens, Greece, comes to the Billikens as a true freshman after prepping at 12th High School of Athens.

The guard/forward has multiple years of experience with the Greek national team, including on the 2019 U16 Women's European Championship squad and the 2021 U18 Women's European Challengers team.

Prifti averaged 12.6 points, 10.0 rebounds, 4.0 steals, 2.8 assists and 1.6 blocks in the U18 National Championship of Greece (2021).
