QUICK PREVIEW
Â
Saint Louis (11-6, 2-2 A-10) hosts UMass (8-9, 1-4 A-10) at Chaifetz Arena at 1:30 p.m. in an Atlantic 10 Conference matchup on USA Network.
Â
UMass defeated the Bills on Thursday night 91-85 in Amherst in a rescheduled game from a postponement on Dec. 30. It sets up a rare back-to-back regular-season matchup between the two teams.
Â
The Minutemen, one of the top 3-point shooting teams in the country, were held to just 35 percent shooting from the arc on Thursday, but they ended up hitting 66.7 percent from the floor in the second half to post the win. Noah Fernandes led UMass with 24 points.
Â
The Billikens were led in scoring by
Gibson Jimerson's 23 points (tied a season high) and
Fred Thatch Jr.'s 20 points (tied a career high).
Francis Okoro scored 16 points and brought down a team-high seven rebounds.
