GAME DETAILS

Caroline Kelly scored her team-leading 10th goal of the season in the 66th minute, and 11th-ranked Saint Louis clinched its fourth Atlantic 10 Conference regular-season title in five seasons with a 1-0 victory over VCU Thursday night at Hermann Stadium.
•SLU (16-1, 9-0 A-10) will have home-field advantage throughout the eight-team A-10 Championship, which begins next weekend. The Billikens' quarterfinal game is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 29, at 1 p.m.
•With the victory, Saint Louis ties the 2018 Billikens for the longest winning streak (14) in program history. The 14-game streak also is the longest current winning streak in NCAA Division I women's soccer.
•VCU, which saw its winning streak halted at six, slipped to 8-2-7, 6-1-2.
•
Sydney Beach picked up her first point of the season with an assist on Kelly's goal. Beach sent a highly flighted ball into the penalty area and, after the VCU goalkeeper failed to gain control, Kelly collected the loose ball and hammered it into the net.

•In addition to owning the longest current winning streak in the nation, Saint Louis leads Division I women's soccer in wins (16) and winning percentage (.941).
•The Billikens' 16-1 record is the best mark through 17 games in program history.
•SLU is now 58-6-6 (.871) in its last 70 games at Hermann Stadium. The shutout was the Bills' 43rd during that stretch.
•Saint Louis tied the school season record of 52 goals set in 2018.

Caroline Kelly's goal was her team-leading fifth game-winner of the season. That sets a Billiken record for game-winning goals by a junior, and it moves Kelly into a fourth-place tie on SLU's overall season list.

Emily Puricelli made three saves and recorded her ninth solo shutout of the season. The Billikens have 11 clean sheets as a team.

Sydney Beach became the 16th different Billiken to score a point this season.
