GAME DETAILS
•No. 11 Saint Louis scored twice in the first five minutes and cruised to a 4-0 Atlantic 10 Conference victory over Saint Joseph's Sunday afternoon on Senior Day at Hermann Stadium.
•SLU, which concluded the regular season 17-1 overall and 10-0 in the A-10, will have home-field advantage throughout the eight-team A-10 Championship, which begins next weekend. The Billikens' quarterfinal game vs. Loyola Chicago is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 29, at 1 p.m.
•Saint Louis is the A-10 regular-season champion for a fourth time in five years.
•The victory was a school-record 15th in succession for the Bills, breaking the previous school mark of 14 set by the 2018 team. The 15-game streak also is the longest active winning streak in NCAA Division I women's soccer.
•Saint Joseph's, which also has qualified for the A-10 Championship, fell to 4-7-7, 3-2-5.

Emily Puricelli made two saves and posted her 17th victory, tying
Olivia Silverman (2018) for the Saint Louis single-season record. The win was the 45th of Puricelli's career, tying Mary Niehaus for second place on SLU's all-time list and pulling to within three of Meghann Burke's Billiken record of 48.

Anna Lawler's goal just 2:28 into the game proved to be all the offense Saint Louis would need. It was the sixth time this season the Billikens have scored in the first seven minutes of a game.

Caroline Kelly, who assisted on Lawler's goal, made it 2-0 in the fifth minute, helped by the first of two
Hannah Friedrich assists.

•The victory gave Saint Louis a third undefeated, untied A-10 season and a fourth undefeated league campaign in the past five years. The Billikens' regular-season record vs. conference teams in those five years is 44-3-1.
•In addition to owning the longest current winning streak in the nation, SLU leads Division I women's soccer in wins (17) and winning percentage (.944).
•The Billikens' 17-1 record is the best mark through 18 games in program history. The 17 wins are one shy of the school record of 18 set by the 2018 team.
•SLU is now 59-6-6 (.873) in its last 71 games at Hermann Stadium. The shutout was the Bills' 44th during that stretch.
•Saint Louis set a school season record for goals (56) in a season, breaking the previous mark of 52 established in 2018.
•The Billikens extended their winning streak vs. Saint Joseph's to four games and their series lead over the Hawks to 9-4-3.

Hannah Friedrich, who was in the Billikens' first 11 for a school-record 100th time, increased her school record for career assists to 43 and her season total to eight with her two helpers. Friedrich now has 103 career points, just one behind Jamie Perry's school standard of 104.

Emily Groark's goal, her eighth of the season, lifted her season point total to 20. Along with
Caroline Kelly (28) and
Emily Gaebe (22), that gives Saint Louis three 20-point scorers in a season for the first time since 2006.
•Lawler's goal was her second of the season and first game-winner of the year.
•Kelly now has 11 goals, tying for third place on SLU's all-time single-season list, and 28 points, tying for fourth.
•Gaebe and Groark tallied their eighth goals of 2022.
•Kelly and
Abbie Miller registered their sixth and fourth assists of the season, respectively.
•The Kelly-from-Friedrich and Gaebe-from-Miller goals were new player combinations this season. The Billikens now have 40 different player combos on their 47 assisted goals this year.

Emily Puricelli recorded her 10th solo shutout of the season (26th career). The Billikens have 12 clean sheets as a team, one shy of equaling the school record.
•Puricelli moved into third place on SLU's career list for goalkeeper minutes (5,205).
